Volunteering at the Library

One of the reasons the Johnson City Public Library is able to offer such great resources, services, and programs is because of the hard work of our dedicated volunteers. Johnson City Public Library volunteers are very special people who strongly believe in the role that an outstanding public library can play in a community’s quality of life. We are regularly looking for volunteers to help with different projects, such as:

If you are interested in volunteering at the Johnson City Public Library, please fill out the Volunteer Application Form (the VolunTeens have a separate application form) and submit it to the volunteer coordinator in Administration. If you have any questions about volunteering at the library, please call 423-434-4362. Teens in grades 7th to 12th grades interested in the VolunTeen Program should contact the Youth Services Department at 423-434-4458.
